What is blue

this was the first poem i wrote in middle School i was 14 and irealized i was an okay writer.... it was a Class assignment

Blue is the tear drops in your eyes. 
Blue is the color of the skies. 
Blue is what you feel when you are sad. 
Blue is the best color, it is really rad. 
Blue is the feeling of a rainy day 
Blue is the feeling that makes you pray. 
Blue is the look on your face 
When you lost that relay race. 
Blue is the sound of a lady's cry 
Blue is when you want to die. 
Blue is the color of the bouncing ball 
Blue is when you can't have it all. 
Blue is thumping at the door. 
Blue is when you go to war. 
We all felt blue once in this life 
When we just want to reach for a knife. 
Blue is when you have no valentine 
Blue is also sometimes fine. 
Blue is the the way you don't want to be 
Blue is the feeling of you and me.
