Shadow People

Shadow People

A Poem by Steven Pottle

You deal with the innards of machines
I love and hate the human emotions
You may think you see me out of the corner of your eye-
The part where the blood and the lashes lay

But I move in a different speed
So are you faster or slower than me?

Intensity.

This piece seems to challenge the walking and unseen dead.

Magical and metaphysical.

Bang on!

This is certainly something to read over and over again. Each time pulling something new from it. So sharp and spot on. Not one wasted word-- they all pack punch.
Well done. Makes me want to yell :)
