From the Start

A Poem by The Girl with the Wolf Tattoo

You can't expect me to just look the other way
pretending to not notice whats comin' in the doorway.
I kicked that son-of-a-b***h out in the first place
so why is it back in here and all up in my face?

I could have sworn I left all that bullshit behind
but yet here it stands and so easy for me to find.
My mom died from that s**t and now you do it too
now you've done gone and broken my heart in two.

I thought I could trust you with anything of mine
but now it seems that our friendship is on the line.
This thing you're doing makes me uneasy at the heart
I guess I should have said something right from the start.
