Wonder

Wonder

A Poem by Sorry Infamous

The right side of my heart

reserved for you

it will always be that way

regretfully unfaithful

to everyone but you

you live in my lies,

my love,

you linger there

waiting, for what?

some written words?

You're wonderful...

I guess I said it

Did I say it to late?

it's long after,

the afternoons

I spent on top of you

we were all awkward elbows

and breasts bare

I watched you grow

more into a man

I let you go.

grow away from me

I'm guilty of this

you should know this...

you're wonderful.

Such Sweet bitter regret. I too know this. The beginning was genius if you ask me
The right side of my heart
reserved for you
it will always be that way
regretfully unfaithful
to everyone but you

And love the "all awkward elbows". There is a grounded earthiness in your imagery. Beautiful and so very real.

It has all the awkwardness of teenage love, and yet all the innocent sweetness of caring for a person. I love it.

This is brilliantly beautiful and bittersweet... The holding on in the letting go... the wondering words... the feelings clinging to the fragments of what was... so amazing to read...

Where do I begin... another wonderful piece of poetry that expresses so much emotion it is in 3D... your words pop of the page... when two people grow apart but still love one another choices must be made... the ending is so bitter sweet... saying good bye but showing great respect.
