Who Might You Be?

Who Might You Be?

A Poem by Jordan Wilson
"

Is this how you feel?

"
Sitting here alone, nothing more then a drone.
They tell my what to think,
what to wear, what to put in my hair.

Sometimes I wonder, is this me? What I see?
Or is it simply who I've been told to be?

I'd die on my feet then live on my knees,
you do not decide, what makes me, me.

So shove off, get on down the road,
Before I tell you where you can go.
See unlike you I am not fake,
My voice does not tremble my knees do not quake.
So for your gods sake, get out of my way.
Before I shatter your reality and reveal to yourself exactly. Who. you.
Might be.
