High In The Sky

You're afraid of this world so you stay in the sky
Its always been our favorite place to hide
Up highs the only place we've ever known
Since I crashed n burned you've been flying alone

I'm calling your name can you hear the sound
Or does the numbness drown me out?
It's not so bad to have your feet on the ground
How hard will you crash when you finally come down?

If it was always me that brought you down then Why can't I pull you out of the clouds?
Its not too late there's no funeral bell,
but I can't save you if you won't save yourself...

Once again you're up in the air
All alone but you just don't care
How long will you wait before you change your ways?
It's like you're just biding time until your final days

Won't you Please just come down out of the sky
you're digging your grave the higher you fly
I see myself when I look in your eyes
and I can't stand to watch you die......

I hope you don't end up in a hole when you fall
I guess I'd rather see you up high in the sky than not see you at all....
