What are we?

We say that we are human but dont we only know we are human when it helps us from a bad situation or we use it at excuse for the mistakes that we make?

The very popular phrase ' We are only human" but what makes us human?

Is it the fact we are from earth, or maybe cause we have emotions?

But how can we call ourselves when we constantly  ignore those that need the helping hand we can give?

The times that we remember that we are human usually happens when a major crisis hits but we have forgotten those that may that we could help that is within our reach but yet we ignore them cause somewhere in our minds, we think that they dont deserve the help.

Like the ones that we see on the streets asking for money or food to eat. We tend to ignore those person cause we may think that they only using it at as an excuse but sometimes thats not always true. And even if it so, whats wrong with reaching out a hand for those who dont even get a chance to hand in life.

The smallest hand can go a long way, that small hand can save someones life. 

Our human emotions tells us whats right and wrong but we choose to ignore and choose whatever suits.

What if we were human without emotions then what will we been? Do you think that we will be able to survive without our humanity ? 

What apart of our humanity tell us to look away?
