Disappeared Without A Trace

Disappeared Without A Trace

A Poem by Alys Jackson

Smiling faces surround me,

Laughter echoes the air,

It's almost as though I'm invisible,

Disappeared without a trace.

They barely even look at me,

It's as though I don't exist,

It's almost as if I'm invisible,

Disappeared without a trace.

Everything is my fault,

They boss me here and there,

It's almost as though I'm invisible,

Disappeared without a trace.

I made this poem up during a P.E. lesson because I was being left out and I was bored to death.

This reminds me of me on many days. We can stand in a crowd and feel as though no one sees us or cares to pay attention. Very nice my friend.

reminds me of school, you've definatly got something good with this poem, but i think you could expand on it and give a few more details or observations of your surroundings. I know im nit picking but i think you missed spelled Barely, even though "they barley even look at me" conjured up some fun images :)
keep up the good work.

OMG thank you! Yeah... I'll fix the barley!
Great poem! It's easy to relate to your poem because we have all felt invisible.
