Gardenia

Gardenia

A Poem by SyberRose

The essence of gardenia lingers

Beneath the invitation of the stars;

As it floats like a shadow of fingers

A soft zepher across ivory skin...

Like a mistress hiding in the shadows,

The whispers of the night unfolds;

Upon the pink coral shore; it follows

A sparrow in the freedom of the wind...

Thus, the passion of night transpires,

To the other side of the moon;

While the ebb and the flow of desire

Is like the bow to a sweet violin...

The essence of gardenia in the night

Upon salt kissed shores of moonlight.

My pleasure.
A lovely sonnet Rose , what could be more delightful than the essence of Gardenia in the night sky. I love to read poems about the night sky and romance..
