Habitation of the Morn

Whispers of wind song softly singing 

until the curtain of the dawn ascends~

 And petals of the sunflower blooming

Into a habitation of the morn.

Shadows of eagles soar mountain peaks

 legends of lovers haunt their nest~

While starry night wings of a butterfly

prances within an operatic breeze.

And the whip-poor-will in shadows of night

sings within the lullaby of the trees~

Soft feathers of moonlight flutter 

like a canary in a gilded cage.
