A Celibate Moon

A Celibate Moon

A Poem by SyberRose

They walked along the moonlight beach

as salty waves caressed the shore

Savoring each precious moment

for each other they did adore~

They lived beneath a celibate moon

til passion in shadows did beckon

And as the ocean softly whispered

sweet nothings in still of night

Footprints in ivory sands

Slowly disappeared from sight~

Behind the dunes of sandy beach

they shared forbidden love

Until the wingspan of the dawn

                appeared like a turtle dove~

They embraced their chance

to share bronze bodies

a tango of sweet romance~

As they tasted of loves salty fragrance

they shared essence of their sun dance.

Thank you so much Rose and happy you enjoyed reading this and thanks for peeking in as always.:)
You seemingly merge love and nature without effort. Nature is a topic not mentioned enough in my writing, you make it such a wonder to read as you weave it within heartbeats.

I heard sea gulls and caught scent of a salted sky. A lovely piece encasing the moments of love, and warmth spreads from one to another. Much enjoyed. :)

A gentle flow of words, a humming stream of moments shared. Metered finely, graphic moments, sweet romance mingling with passion. Then that added touch of something more than special in, ' .. They lived beneath a celibate moon.. til passion in shadows did beckon.. '
