Empty-Thought

Empty-Thought

A Poem by What happened to simple old me?

I should walk with you into a valley

where shadows roam the hills we run -

I am hopelessly lost

and you lose me in our moment

a faltering drop and vacant eyes dull-shine

A quick shot recouperation at your mentioning

I ask you to take me away with the night,

and leave me to eternity.

'Death was just a simple glance across a dim lit room And those eyes did it Those three words did it Those three words killed him And I surrender to it all Between you and me, I surrender to you .. more..
