Near To You

Near To You

A Poem by What happened to simple old me?

We'll foot finely around one another's path, you'll open the squeaking door - and when you think I don't notice, pleasingly I'll let you know that I do. And a smile will appear on your face. I'll no longer toy with your mind, but take the place of a lady, to comfort and keep you warm, as you endeavour to keep me safe from harm.

About
'Death was just a simple glance across a dim lit room And those eyes did it Those three words did it Those three words killed him And I surrender to it all Between you and me, I surrender to you .. more..
