Hurt and Anger

Hurt and Anger

A Poem by Aurora Dawn

I heard something today, that I wish would go away.
It's about what you said.
Now it won't stop pounding in my head.
I must say, you had me seeing red.
What did I do to make you hate me?
Hurt and anger is all I felt.
Then I ignored you, that's the way I delt.
I would have done anything for you, but now that time is through.
At least I know that you're wrong.
And at least I know I can move on.

I love poems that start out sort of depressing but end on a happier note. a lot of mine are like that.

I like how it ends with some level of hope.
