Color of a RavenA Poem by Tim
Stress encircled her eyes and head.
When any hope was hopeless... light-years away, she opened her dresser drawer. Beneath pharmacy referals and credit card bills its black metal trigger resembled the color of a raven. At the speed of light and with enough energy to shoot across the expanse of space, it made her weightless... a heavenly body. Her universe transformed as skull fragments exploded like stardust escaping a black hole.
