Tennessee Jams And Jellies

Tennessee Jams And Jellies

A Poem by TINCIETWO1963

Tennessee jams and jellies

In the back woods of Tennessee

Bushes of blue berries

Vines of blackberries

Strawberries in patches

Wading creeks for musky dimes

Gathering berries was a treat

Making the jellies and jams

Sent the sweetest smells

Toasted bread and butter

Jams and jellies all around

Brings back my southern childhood

All around our mountain side
