An Angel Without Wings

She wants to dance and sing

And everything

That makes people smile wide

So young to be adored

Let alone bored

How could she be denied?

 

Power in her feet and hands

Oh but she understands

how to make their hearts glow

With music and good cheer

what on earth could she fear

As if she didn’t know

the guardians do tell her so

 

The angels without wings

Are such beautiful helpful things

They guide her in every single way

The angels are her friends

They help the lonely make amends

And help pray with her every day

 

Even when she’s tired

The girl is admired

She is an inspiration to them all

She is the reason why

There are stars in the sky

And the moon needs the sun to fall

 

A joy to have around

the earth moves to her sound

Can she be more than love

Blessed at the start

With a kind mind and heart

She could only have come from up above

 

Never will she fall down

Because talk around town

Is of peace, love, and happy things

The day is much brighter

And troubles seem lighter

Since she’s an angel without wings
