Week Woman

Week Woman

A Poem by TTBoy28

Their own business

was knowing my business

The way you came

and went

No looking back

No gentle

no harsh wave

What business did I have

when I already knew

you always took two days

to love yourself

only

any way you wanted

any way possible

Who could be more distant

when it was I

who provided the life

 you had become

accustomed to

Jaded were your

Soft eyes

that saw something

beneath it all

that made you feel

it was alright

You took two days too long

this time

Soon it will be

my turn to go away

and I will already

be accustomed to it

And finally

I can stop charging the

activities
