The Knowledge Seeker

The Knowledge Seeker

A Poem by TTBoy28

He scowls for content

that allows him to reminisce

Editing others emotions

for his own pleasure

as if he wears a coat he got off layaway

after requesting repairs to be made

Not mindful how much time has gone by

only to tug on the sleeves to make it fit

Emotional that there is no good fit

Sorrowful how he lost touch with time

With the chill

try he does to adapt with his coat of many colors

But they all can see

He himself is borrowed

On loan to a time that grows creativity

He dons patches that are like a map

that lead back to the same spot

No one like the other spell confusion

Forcing him to perfect his craft

And retreat into obscurity
