The Sand man

The Sand man

A Poem by TTBoy28

The Sand man

said I can’t use his bathroom

It’s broken

Kenya is emptying the trash can

Guess I’m not the only token

About to give him my cash

when I see all his treasures

He hollers at the girl wearing the sash

My, the way he gets his pleasures

Of all the ones I could give it to

Even bent over, he needs it most

If only he had a clue

The mirror shows a lighter shade of toast

When the Sand man got robbed the other day

he was hurt when he had to give a description

The boyfriend of the girl who sashayed away

left him in need of a prescription

Now that man relieves himself

in a plastic bag he gets off the shelf

Too bad he just didn’t understand

Someday his head would be in the sand

Watch how the Sand man

closes his eyes

He thinks everyone is his fan

When all their smiles become lies
