Sight Again

Sight Again

A Poem by TTBoy28

Eye-lids carry

the baggage for the days

and times of emptiness

Though covered with face paint

They still rise up to let

the eyes see what is before me

And my mind reminds them

I used to be just that

A new victim

Same old gesture

struggling to hold back steam

never released

in this lifetime
