The Unfinished Job

The Unfinished Job

A Poem by TTBoy28

Add me to the Dead Pool
and take me to school
where the fish rise to the surface
for a quick breath and carefree
meet the middle of the earth
Where floating is foreboding in a
class of clones
But be careful not to leave my bones
alone
For to single me out would mean
my superiority over the
others
Brothers and Sisters
Misses and Misters if retrieved let
it be only thee that you see
Shining brightly even beneath the Sea
If there is a bruise let it be only a ruse
A blown out fuse
serves only to show one to lose
the game as if to blame
the lame for the shame
impending and mending messages worth
sending
Blending the moving with the behooving
Existing along with the persisting
Scale me after you have impaled me after
realizing with bulged eyes I have first served you
the same way
What a day to say, "Hey!"
Play with me on your way
to display what you lay so poorly as to portray
to betray the bait you use to lure one as me
Though as you impale me long enough
you may feel a warm bolt shatter the cords
hampering you from being vocal
And as you add me to the Dead Pool
think of the fool that serves now as the school
That malicious belly of the Whale
that swallowed my children and nurtured them
to maturity
Oh, what a succulent receptacle you proved to be
without knowing
Just try and clear your throat after my wiry coat
Strangle you may after I dangle touche
Spent am I after you have added me to the
Dead Pool
Such a delectable hook from a look you give
playing hide and seek continuing while I shook
Different am I
for the sky is the only one who can catch my shots
without gagging and lagging as the wanna bees who believe
they can relieve the bereaved I have de-flowered and
day later floured
Suffer you for the sin you begin
and my fin I will lend
a hand and then stand you up
and watch as you dress never to confess
that I destroyed the best that this mess
could and would never confess
or ever again wear a dress as Sunday's Best
A toy for the future boy
as no grip to serve as real joy
To dare challenge the well-balanced
with fruit so low surely a body bag in tow
How ever could you think
there would only be one drink
after a pearl necklace link
would have you skating on an ice rink
Oh dear, a flip for a dip
A pad for the lad who has been had
ripped to shreds on a floor and beds
Unable to sit on a part that spits
Convulsions from emulsions
contusions to confusion
Delirium destroys the equilibrium

I hope your hook got what it wanted
