Please Use Your Library Voice, Mother

A Poem by TTBoy28

How can I grow into a household
when all I hear are voices louder than
 my own?

Please use your library voice, Mother

How can I distinguish right from wrong
when all I hear resembles hate and
 shame?

Please use your library voice, Mother

How can I drift into never never land
when all I hear tells me that I might be
 overlooked in time of panic?

Please use your library voice, Mother

How can I sing like the angel
God made me to be when you forget
to thank Him for me everyday?

Please use your library voice, Mother
