Soul Residue

Soul Residue

A Poem by TTBoy28

 What products do I need

to clean up here

Even after the slate has been washed

isn’t something left behind

The shines and the polish

  mask the scent

  at times fresh or fresher

   but then that evaporates

What products do I need

to see the light of any good

 done

before I switch off the light

  and walk away

To not have to return to do it all

 again

Too much done and the surface

is scraped

Unsalvageable only by sheen

put on

  by another

Still

 underneath it all

it is not

The Buddhist are the purest of the pure, I appreciate everything that they do and this poem.....amazing, it soars the sky and leaves its message where ever it travels,
