Throwing Love

Throwing Love

A Poem by ROXANE DORSEY
"

catching love

"
I have shown you love.
Too long, real genuine black woman's LOVE.
Did you catch it?  for No other.
Thrown past your eyes, love's juicy air.
DOSE ME, love doctor. again & again.
Brown mixed blackish gray hair skin
of masculine darkness.  PRETTY, PRETTY.
My love is refined for your pleasure.
Sound waves presses against my ears.
Ringing ring ring, hear my foolish cries.
Turning nose c eyes.
Hand clap to the funky beat. excess skin
plop, flop, flop pa de flop wop wop wop.
Hear me hanging buttocks slap, slap pa de slap.
Sweet melodies raise eyebrows.
Love makes soul music.  Jive turkey, smoked
without love, life is a joke. Scary Crowded crazy!
DIG LOVE.  GIVE LOVE.  BE LOVE.
SHOW LOVE. FREE LOVE.
R-E-S-P-E-C-T LOVE, to have LOVE'S
FULL HONORABLE RESPECT IN RETURN.
