FLOWERS NEVER CHANGE

FLOWERS NEVER CHANGE

A Poem by ROXANE DORSEY

Roses are still red
Violets never changed its blue.
The world we're in ever spins
Rapidly out control.
Faster you go, slower earth's
globe flow.
As our world turns in centuries
old dirt, Dirty Harry retired to
Petty Tom Tom.
The city turned wild western
young guns.
No mob justice.  Young man go
home.  Change.
Man dam.  Man got dam where is
you backbone.
No morals.
No principles.
No boundaries.
Kid not mine now days. What's a
mans to own?  Not even a home!
Who cares they'll be grown sooner
before no later is guaranteed.
Boys can't be boys and girls won't be
young ladies.  Still the same.

About
love poetry since it has been embedded in my mind deeply way back when I was 4 years old. A very good reader in pre-school. Nursery rhymes tuned me in even deeper. more..
