Under the Sky

Under the Sky

A Poem by ROXANE DORSEY

How spacious the beautiful sky blue
free roam under blue's dome
birds soaring triangular goings
big and blue so over you
rainy days musky dew
bright & sunny comes bee's honey
down burst hail hurts
whimsical winds upset limbs
Slipping under throws thunder
populations wonder earth's hurt
birthing pains deliver quakes
puffing clouds crowd the way
tis weren't for gravity, millions
could hang tight as flying kites.
