The Birth of a Flower

The Birth of a Flower

A Poem by ROXANE DORSEY

Marsh bayou
seeds need
bud the stud
embedded
dirt days
foam pellets
plotting magic
plastic
white petals
inner yellow beaming
dating dots
kettle dreams
Florida glades
grassy spaces
flower faces
blossoming
water lilies.
