Tell Me With Your Eyes

Tell Me With Your Eyes

A Poem by TadKent
"

Just one more song in the TK collection.

"

Tell me one thing

I don't know about you.

I'll give you a list of things

you know I'd do for you

So cross your fingers

and we'll pretend

Everything is alright, because

Silence is your new best friend

Talk to me,

Tell me what I already know

You're thinking.

Look at me,

Tell me with your eyes

Are you listiening?

Girl I swear,

I thought I knew you better than this

It's so unfair,

Now what we all had seems so pointless

Oh I promise I won't bite.

I guess you're scared I just might

Lean in

whisper something in your ear,

maybe that song of hope

you don't want to hear,

That's too bad

Talk to me,

Tell me what I already know

You're thinking

Look at me

Tell me with your eyes

Are you listening?

That look you give me makes me

S-s-s-stutter

Instead of glaring won't you

Help me make this

B-b-b-better now,

Oh I promise it'll be worth it.

We all had so much,

don't make me forget it.

Talk to me,

Tell me what I already know

You're thinking....

cute lyrics. And I LOVE that the Frames are your numero uno on myspace. =) You're a very talented writer. For once, I have no critique in a review... feels strange. lol. I would mention the rhythm, but I know it goes with the music, so... yep. I enjoyed reading. A lot. =)

very cool lyrics, i would love to hear the song that goes with them... though the words are still very dramatic as stand-alones! ;)

I like this, its very beautiful.
I've been there with knowing what someone is thinking and it can either be a very hurtful time or a very happy time, I think most people can relate to this

I like how you already know, but you need to hear it, you point out that just having the knowledge isn't enough, you have to hear them say it, and know they mean it. Beautiful. I loved it :) Great job!
