Know That I Too
We are never alone (a poem for mental health month)
Imagine It

Imagine It

A Poem by Taemint
"

Something that was inspired by the freezing air outside my warm bed..and of course my two dogs who refused to let me come back inside.

"

Stretch up towards the sky

as the birds look down upon you when they fly by

The endless roads above you, a place where no one lands

a clear canvas for your imagination's skilled hands

There is a time and place when the mind is at it's prime

untouched and beautiful, in other words pristine

What will be thought of?

The many colors of a priceless painting

ranging from blue to black to white?

A book written from the heart

that starts with the words Once Upon A Time?

How about a song from the soul

that will be sung to children long after your life?

This is the beauty of a wondrous mind

unchanged, not affected by the works of the things around it in it's time.

Look up at the never ending sky

leave your inhibitions behind

Search the world around you

as you will find many things in it true

Don’t stop the inspirations from reaching you

or leave your creativity hanging in the blue

Let your mind out of the cage from where it weeps

constricted by the iron grip of the mindless drones who sleep

Take the time to look around

to the world that yearns to be found

Skip some stones in the crystal rivers

and dig your toes into the lush, green and silvers

Reach out to the horizon above and beyond

and let your mind break out into its own song
