It all ends like this

Poem I wrote while I am in a bad place...

 

Eyes down

Head up

Tears held back

 

Brave face

Weak soul

Broken heart

 

Hide it all

Ignore it all

Its still there

 

Locked away

In my heart

Forever there

 

Rising to the surface

Never forgetting

Always there

 

Unbearable pain

Merciless foes

Beat me down

 

Tears let lose

Run down my face

Given free reign

 

Heart stops beating

No more love

No more sorrow

 

It all ends

I like how how you chose your words and how you only put a few words in every line. The flow is outstanding!! Oh and by the way speaking from experience it is never goos to hold in emotions. Funny how I can give that advice and totally not follow it but great poem!

it is never good to hold back emotions, we should all just let loose and not be afraid... also it is a sad reality to live in pain and just end it all... great poem and expressed the emotions well
