Very telling. An interesting aspect to the dilemmas posed of trying to get a response is because the non-responder has priorly violated their own ethical standards in some way. From my own practical experience, the cleaning of ones own slate will restore the wish to communicate to resolve issues.
To use an archaic term, sin makes us withdraw to protect. Deep down, we all desire to do the best we can.
I do go on. Sorry if its too much, or even if you think I am wrong in my assessment.
