Drown

Drown

A Poem by Kiara

I observe the scars on my wrists.

I want to add to them.

I want to cut until it stops hurting,

Until the blood stops dripping.

I want these veins empty,

Just like my dying heart.

I want the blood pooled on the floor

Instead of my worthless tears.

I want to give in to this pain,

If only it would stop for half a second.

I want to sleep and never wake up.

I want to slide the blade across my skin

Because death is calling.

Even Hell couldn't compete with this.
