![]() Mother, Father, ListenA Poem by Kiara![]() We wrote sonnets in English. It isn't very good but I just wanted to get it over with.![]() I walk outside to find myself alone. My father cannot see the pain I face. My mother’s heart has wrapped itself in stone. The tears cascade as I begin to pace. I know this pain. I’ve felt it all before. They are the cause and I know I must cope. I hate it. I can’t
take it anymore. I feel so lost and I cannot find hope. So hard, I’ve tried to tell myself they care But I can see that it will never change. I call for help but all they do is stare. Listen to me. I
know it may seem strange But Mother, Father, I’ve done nothing wrong. Without your help, I fear I can’t go on. © 2013 KiaraFeatured Review
