I Don't Belong Here

I don't belong anywhere,

Don't have any friends I can call my own.

All energy has left me

Tired and alone.

There is always a space,

Something keeping me in isolation.

There is always a deadness,

Sometimes followed by desperation.

No one wants to be alone,

But some of us have convinced ourselves we do.

We throw ourselves to the ocean,

And we let others watch as we drown in the blue.

I have to admit, I get a bit scared every time I read your poetry. Are you alright? Trust me, I've been there, and every single one of those feelings will go away eventually. I can openly admit that I don't have many close friends to call my own. I feel alone a lot of times. Sometimes, I think that I am pathetic, hopeless, I should just give up. I don't and I won't. You shouldn't. You should know that people do care. If not anyone else, then your family does. Feel grateful for what you have, the good will come. Keep a smile on your face, always! :)
