Flames

Flames

A Poem by Kiara

Don't say that you won't leave,
Because I won't believe it.
Don't tell me everything's okay,
Because I know it's a lie.
Everyone stumbles once in a while,
But I've fallen enough that I can't get back up.
I'm stuck dragging my body through this Hell
And the flames are catching up.
They swallow me whole
But they don't kill me.
They only burn away what's left of me,
Feeding on my pain as if it were Oxygen.

wow, hell in full here that your written, I love it! ... Stuck dragging yourself through this hell, and the flames consuming your pain like oxygen... such Imagery... nothing alright, there a decent times, but there's always an underlying wreck just waiting to happen, to show up... a great piece again, trust is difficult, but we dont die because we have to live through it, even the hellish times... great write my friend!
