There Is No Truth

There Is No Truth

A Poem by Kiara

I'm blinking my eyes but my vision is blurred.

I'm walking through life but my voice is unheard.

This life is all lies,

Trickery,

Deceit.

My only truth are these

Because the truth is never true.

At least with lies, we see it coming.

We have the time to turn and start running.

The truth aims for the knees,

Bringing us down to the ground.

No one will hear our pleas,

For no one can hear a sound.

No one can see except for me.

Oh, very lyrical! Sounds like a verse from a song :) I like the "the truth aims for the knees" line. It shows how the truth has the ability to bring us down to our knees in a kind of surrender. Very nice write!
