The Creature of Everlask

The Creature of Everlask

A Poem by Taylor Jackson
"

Just a short poem about the risk of having two faces, and the monster that we face while wearing them. Enjoy and hope for feedback.

"
There is a solemn creature of Everlask
Who wears two faces, two harrowed masks.

Who travels to the cities true
Looking for victim's, of faces that have two.

And when faced by the creature a lesson you'll learn,
and a story he'll tell, and a truth will burn..

.....

"Lets go down a lonely way,
to seek out now our own facade.

For one will surely be misguided,
by ones desire to seem delighted.

Alas, now I see myself,
A mask I lay upon the shelf.

Let's not forget we hold two face,
Lets not forget..and be replaced."

.....

If one decides to listen clear,
and shed their face, themselves revered.

He'll save you life, and your eyes will see,
For you'll now not drown in search of greed.
