The Storm Inside My Life

The Storm Inside My Life

A Poem by DarkestSpirit15

another poem in the darkest times series

"
Late Evening
Sleepy people sleeping quietly.
Gloomy clouds moving slowly through through the sky.
Howeling wolves waking in the dark.

Stars hidden behind darkened clouds.
Wind whistles turn to moans.
Night animals hurry to their homes.
Raindrops trickle slowly down.

CLANG!!!!
Angry thunderous lighting crash through the sky.
The trickle turns to downpour.
Wind whipping wildly through the trees.

Silence!....
Children lay peacfully sleeping.
Gustling winds calm with a peacful sigh.
Rainsoaked leaves drip drip drip. splashing against the concrete.

I like this:) It is metaphorically spoken you speak of a storm a storm that is in real life but the storm is really raging inside you. I do love a nice thunder storm so much I just like to go outside and stand in it all idk makes me feel at ease as crazy as it sounds I don't mind the rain I am a soap maker so I get the natural shower of upliftment but that storm within can be a whole new thing that's not so uplifting. You did a great job and this write should had deserved credits not 111 views . That upsets me here its like battle of the word!!!! And it shouldn't be that way I saw this was wrote in 2012 I am just wondering we crossed paths way back in 2013.
