Because Of You

Because Of You

A Poem by Taz
"

To my friend. Please mail me back...

"
Reload again, taps are in vain,
you're still not here, to help my pain,
While I am on, the edge of life,
While holding this cold, scarlet knife,
The tip turned red by scars of past,
How long will my wounded soul last?
I just need to push, cut this vein,
And that will end all of the pain,
What reason do I have to stay?
How do I make it through the day?
Who makes my pain just go away?
When I have the knife to me,
 I can't push,
Because Of You

Thank you so much.
Last place left and the knowing of desperate emotion. Leave us in a bad situation.
"What reason do I have to stay?
How do I make it through the day?
Who makes my pain just go away?
When I have the knife to me,
I can't push,
Because Of You"
The above lines. Make the reader feel the sadness and desperation. Thank you Taz for sharing the powerful words and thoughts.

You are welcome Taz.
Painful and telling. There are always reasons to stay, but the list doesn't matter unless you create it yourself. Self-worth and self-dependence are the greatest skills you will ever learn. Good poem...despairing thoughts.

Well these poems are painful to read. I can feel the pain and emotion in every word and through every line.
Let me say your rhyme scheme is flawless, and you are very talented.
Every writer writes about how they feel, so I am not going to tell you to write something happier next time, because if you are not happy, its not easy to do that.
I can say I really hope you feel happy again soon.
Very deep powerful poem.

your welcome :)
Wow this poem is so beautiful. I loved every part of it, from each word to each sentence put together. You had some great imagery in this too! This poem brought tears to my eyes reminding me of the times I sat there on the bathroom floor feeling the same way. Thank you for sharing this. I hope you'll write more like this. Keep up the amazing work!

The poem is amazing (as usual). Each line was beautifully written. I loved it. Especially till soul last. Thank you very much for sharing. I really like these types of imagery filled lines. I can easily imagine the scene, situation and feel the feelings. I loved it, Keep posting!!!

I love the imagery of this line "While holding this cold, scarlet knife,
The tip turned red by scars of past," It is also a nice transition from present to past events. Well written. Keep doing lines like this.

That's good that you chose to live. How long will my wounded soul last? This is my favourite line this is a question that no one knows and the answer lies within us. Only we can make ourselves happy.
