The Final Storm.

The Final Storm.

A Poem by Mistaken Angel

Emotion washed over her body,
as she sat watching the waves crash,
against the fragile old wooden pier.

A storm was threatening to unleash,
much like the one brewing inside her,
but they lay dormant only releasing a flood of tears.

Unwanted memories haunt her mind,
refusing to give her an moments solace,
from all the pain she desperately tried to leave behind.

Unwilling to face her devastating inner turmoil,
she gracefully stood whispering her final goodbye,
before diving into the sea with a welcoming smile.

Vivid description of letting go of life and hoping to escape from the tormenting pain that stalks the unfortunate. Good description to lead the reader to feel your thoughts. Thank you.

Strong description led to sad ending.
"Unwilling to face her devastating inner turmoil,
she gracefully stood whispering her final goodbye,
before diving into the sea with a welcoming smile."
The above ending. Final and sad. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
