Crimson Blossom

Crimson Blossom

A Poem by CrimsonDecorum

Patetic girl,

you think you can srvive?

The blade is the only reason

you really thrive.

{Your words don't effet me!

They pass by and fail.

You aren't strong enough,

just try to rip the veil.}

You are quite sure,

in your weak defenses.

Foolish child,

I can tap into your sense.

{I'm no fool,

I'm ready for the fight.

I can keep up the battle.

all through the night.}

You wont get this help,

that you really need.

Depressed girl,

You will only continue to bleed.

{No, I'm the rosebud,

that will continue to bloom.

Mark my words, demon,

you will not be my doom.}

Author's Note

I'm starting to fall back into my old style of writting. The four line per stanza. I like the flow of those types of poems.

A little argument that is also written in a sceenplay that I will post later. The bold is the girl talking, and the italics is the demon or monster she is conflicting with.
I hope you like it!

Love to you all,
~Rose Petal Winter~

I like the conflict, it really makes the poem come alive. I love it! The only thing I have to say is that the word "fail" is overused, therefore bringing the sophisticated air of the poem down a notch for me. Otherwise it is amazing!
