Compromised Masquerade

Compromised Masquerade

A Poem by TelamVitae

Don't make a compromise
On who you are,
Rounding your personality
To the nearest half.
Don't carve yourself
To fit the mold,
Just take off all those masks.

Don't give yourself
To the factory of the world,
You're the only thing you have
All for yourself.
So keep in mind
What this compromise
Is going to mean for you.

Dance, if you want to,
In this compromised masquerade.
Have fun, if you want to,
In the shell society made.
Or join us,
And be who you are.
Be who you want to
In this compromised masquerade.
