Moths

Moths

A Poem by Melinda

The same dance done
By a million gray moths
Is a marvelous jewel-toned ballet
When the dancers are butterflies,
For even as they stand still
Everyone watches
Because in that moment it seems
That only a butterfly really dances.
In the end what are moth's to do
But go on dancing unnoticed,
And hope someday to catch an eye
With only the tint of silver
In their wings.

Butterflies one of my favorite, beautiful things....Moths....hang out near my bug zapper w/the mosquitos. Such a sad life.

I like this very much. I think that moths have their own unique beauty and I love to watch them dancing in the glow of the lights at nighttime. Thanks for sharing this.

Everything I told you about myself is terribly outdated. In my own defense I'm just lousy at keeping in touch. P.S. I love you (giggle) more..
