Daydream

Daydream

A Poem by Melinda
"

Eh, not my best, but it's got some good points..

"

Between the Earth and sky am I
Gravity has me pinned down-
No wings, or legs with springs have I-
Just weightless thoughts and gazing eyes
To lift me off of the ground.

Above the clouds seek I to go
Beyond the fairest skies
(My soaring heart tells me so)
Are ways to learn I do not know
I'll see through dreamers eyes.

Search with heart and head will I,
As hope lives in me still.
Keep her safe in me shall I,
For within faith she will survive,
And live they always will.

About
Everything I told you about myself is terribly outdated. In my own defense I'm just lousy at keeping in touch. P.S. I love you (giggle) more..

Writing
Cold, Man. Cold, Man.
