Bacon

Bacon

A Poem by Melinda

Tonight I'm bacon
In a frying pan-
Curling, spitting, twisting,
Turning black at both ends.

I'm done
- sizzle, spit
I'm finished
- pop, crackle
I'm inedible

The smoke rolls out-
Waves of burning
Fatty flesh-
Gets stomachs turning.

Done is done
Is done is
Done.

Melinda,

Angry Much?

Tonight I am bacon is a artful way of saying I am pissed at the world right now, leave me alone.

Great job on the bacon, next time they should try to cook it on low heat.

Again, very nice rant and great job using food as a tone of temperance.

Thank you for sharing,

Legacy
