In You? Paradise

In You? Paradise

A Poem by Melinda

If I could dwell inside your mind
After I leave this world behind
Then I will have arrived in paradise-
I've sat beneath the star-speckled skies,
Bathed in moonlight on the cool green hill
Above the valley behind your eyes-
I've heard the music, who's tempo shares
The beating of your heart;
The concerto of your life- first fast
And then slow.
I have soared high on your hope
As a bird to the wind
Falling in sadness, then rising again.
Perhaps I'd look as beautiful
As you always made me feel
If I passed through that veil
(Your face for the world)
To the place where your dreams unfurl-
A Heaven under Heaven revealed.

About
Everything I told you about myself is terribly outdated. In my own defense I'm just lousy at keeping in touch. P.S. I love you (giggle) more..

Writing
Cold, Man. Cold, Man.
