Sleepers

Sleepers

A Poem by Melinda

If I could leave I'd go where they rest
Wraped up and safe inside their nest.
Sleepers in their last repose
Reclining in their finest clothes.

Sleepers lined up in a row,
Who've learned what we have yet to know-
Perhaps if I sit there for a spell
And ask so sweetly, one may tell

Of a place in the river safe to ford
So I wont be stranded on the shore-
If there's a way, I'd like to know,
And drift off to where the sleepers go.

About
Everything I told you about myself is terribly outdated. In my own defense I'm just lousy at keeping in touch. P.S. I love you (giggle) more..

Writing
Cold, Man. Cold, Man.
