Can't Come Home

Can't Come Home

A Poem by ThatPeculiarGirl :3

It’s been too many weeks

Each hour feels like a year

But I won’t speak

No, I won’t shed a tear

Last night you rang my bell

A broken memory from my past

Beautiful creature sent from Hell

Our times could never last

You begged me please

To let you come home

But you’re just a beast

With a heart made of stone

I yell not to come back

Sorrow fills in your face

I let the door close with a smack

Gone forever, without a trace
