Who Warms The Sun?

Who Warms The Sun?

A Poem by Creepy Swine Guy

It never occurred to me to ask

"Who brightens the sun's day?"

Not, at least, until I met you.

How can you need to be warmed?

You, who casts your golden glow

On all who happen through your light.

Really?! The sun has her dark days?

She lives in her very own dark place?

How does one bring light to the sun herself?

I am not nearly that bright or that warm.

How can I bring warmth, and brightness

And cheer to the very source of such things?

Perhaps if I show her the wonderful

Person in her mirror.

Beautiful message in poem form to a woman. This is simple yet romantic in the sense of reflecting the light you see back to warm her up in a dark mood? That is love.. it can be for a close friend, family member or a lover on a bad day. Everyone does have their dark days.. the brightest have the darkest at times or at least it feels that way when people dodge (most don't embrace clouds.. what's that saying positive attracts positive.. don't touch negative especially electrical charges.. lol) .. the same people only to come back chasing the brightest warmth again. If only we could stay happy all the time.. but then would we KNOW we were happy anymore.. it would become mundane.

I surely love this one CBG as it's full of wonder and awe. In life there are people who touch our souls, some more than others....we don't know why as we don't have the power to adjust the knob of "answers to all". But just as you describe above...there are darker days than others, yet somehow we can feel the positivity from those who shine on our very being through kindness or maybe just some comforting words, a call, a text or a simple smile. In the same way...we wonder.."how is this possible"....we don't have magic wands....but...it just is.

Great poem
Thanks so much for share

ah this is delicate and lovely.. i've found it is often the ones who cast the most glow, who need it most themselves.. they've been giving their own away to everyone else, you see..
